Living the Art of Yoga Teacher Training
Why Body Art?
The 2019/2020 Body Art Teacher Training will be creator, and curator Michelle Dawson’s 13th annual, 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training. After successfully completing a dozen, Yoga Alliance Accredited Teacher Trainings and transforming hundreds of students into meaningful teachers, Michelle is merging the perfected parts of her unique Teaching Program with an improved concept toward delivering the most highly informative education about Living the Art of Yoga to date. Having completely revamped a collectively outdated teaching model, The Body Art Barn’s 2019/2020 Living The Art of Yoga Teacher Training aspires to be the pioneer of a more informative, healing, nourishing, and extremely unique learning experience that will deliver a very grounded and holistic approach to receiving and transferring the sacred wisdom of Yoga. As a part of the new syllabus, The Body Art Barn’s 200 hour Yoga training will include individualized somatic and energy healing sessions from Master of Chinese Medicine and Accupuncture, Pipper Armel. Also on staff will be the brilliant holder of sacred space, Psychotherapist and trauma informed Yoga teacher Sarah Jean White. Body Art alumni, teacher, and life coach, Susan Cooney will also be holding sacred space and assisting in the sensitive transitioning from student to teacher. We firmly believe that in order for the transference of Yoga to occur, a deep healing on the individual level of each practitioner needs to occur.
